Rhein River Reunion Update 5/12/2021
Some have asked about recommended hotels near the church. Mrs Dottie and I normally stay at the Econo Lodge/Riverside in Pigeon Forge. There are many others on the Parkway that are near the church: Fairfield Inn, Springhill Suites are two that we have stayed in before. You can google "hotels on the Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN" and it will give you a list of several hotels that are convenient to the church, Liberty Baptist Church on Wears Valley Rd, Pigeon Forge.
Reunion Schedule:
Wednesday, July 21, 2021:
5:30 pm- 7:00 pm - Meet n' Greet in the downstairs fellowship hall of Liberty Baptist Church
7:00 pm - joining with the folks at Liberty Baptist Church for Wednesday night service. Pastor Lancaster will be preaching
Thursday and Friday, July 22-23, 2021
9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Morning Session ( singing, preaching from some favorite preachers, special music, testimonies, sharing memories, reminiscing.
12:00 pm - 7:00 pm - FREE TIME FOR ENJOYING THE SMOKIES.
7:00 pm - till - Evening Session (same schedule as the morning)

The Reunion is officially over on Friday night, but some have always had breakfast together on Saturday morning before leaving town. We have eaten at the Apple Barn in the past, but that will be decided by those that stay for breakfast.

Rhein River Baptist Church ministered to our U.S. servicemen and their families in the Mannheim, Germany area for over 25 years until the base closed in 2012. Pastor and Mrs. Tom Lancaster served RRBC for over 20 of those years. Their desire has been for the RRBC military family and spirit to continue through the Rhein River Reunions held every other year. Our 2020 Reunion had to be cancelled due to COVID so we are excited about this year's Reunion. We invite our Rhein River alumni to come and meet old friends you knew when you were at RRBC, as well as new RRBC friends whom you have not yet met.
Once again we will meet in the town of Pigeon Forge, TN, in the heart of the family vacation capital of America, the Great Smokey mountains. Morning and evening sessions will be held again at Liberty Baptist Church, 661 Wears Valley Road, Pigeon Forge, TN. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. each morning and 7:00 p.m. each evening. There will be singing, great special music, testimonies, reminiscing and some wonderful preaching. The afternoons will be free for families to enjoy the sight and activities of the Great Smokeys.
The reunion will begin on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. with a reception in the fellowship hall at Liberty Baptist. We will join the folks at Liberty for their Wednesday night service. LODGING AND MEALS WILL BE EACH FAMILY'S RESPONSIBILITY. Friends and supporting pastors of the ministry of Rhein River Baptist Church are also invited to attend.
Every reunion has captured the old spirit of Rhein River Baptist Church and we are sure that this year will be no exception. PLEASE LET PASTOR AND MRS. LANCASTER KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
Liberty Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge, TN
Our reunion services have been held at Liberty Baptist Church for over 15 years. The church is located just off the main parkway. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. and 7 p.m. for a time of reminiscing, testimonies, special music and good preaching.

Remember Any Of These Folks - or these memories?
You will no doubt reunite with old friends who were at RRBC when you were, but you will also have the opportunity to meet many of our RRBC family from throughout the years. One of the special things about our reunions is that no matter when you were a part of our family, the RRBC spirit remains constant.
